- Very good Master's degree in law (MLaw)
- Willingness and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of law and to work in both private and public law
- Skill in editing texts
- Very good analytical skills, precise, structured working method, and the ability to apply legal knowledge practically
- Good knowledge of two official languages and English
The Federal Office of Justice (BJ) is the federal center of competence for law. It manages legislative projects in constitutional, administrative, private, and criminal law. The office advises on all federal legislative matters and collaborates with foreign authorities in the field of legal assistance and extradition.
The Federal Land Registry and Property Law (EGBA) is the federal authority responsible for real estate law, land registry, notarial law, ship registry, and Lex Koller. It prepares legislation in these areas and manages federal council and parliamentary matters. It examines cantonal decisions and rulings in the area of Lex Koller for their compliance with federal law and ensures uniform application of the law through information to authorities and complaints before cantonal courts and the Federal Court. It is responsible for the oversight of the land registry and ship registry.
