Do you want to engage with topics such as neurodiversity, mental illnesses, chronic diseases or physical and sensory disabilities and ideally have your own experience with them? Are you good at organising, coordinating and bringing people together?

What is it about?
ZHAW offers peer-to-peer groups (P2P) where students can exchange, support and network on the following topics: ADHD/ADD; Dyslexia/Dyscalculia; Autism Spectrum; Mental Illnesses; Chronic Diseases; Physical and Sensory Disabilities
We are looking for committed coordination persons for the following topics and locations:
- ADHD/ADD: One person for the Winterthur location
- Dyslexia/Dyscalculia: One person for the Zurich location, one person for the Winterthur location, one person for the Wädenswil location
- Autism Spectrum: One person for the Zurich location, one person for the Winterthur location, one person for the Wädenswil location
- Mental Illnesses: One person for the Zurich location, one person for the Winterthur location
- Chronic Diseases: One person for the Zurich location, one person for the Wädenswil location
- Physical and Sensory Disabilities: One person for all ZHAW locations
What you will do:
- You will establish a peer group on the respective topic.
- You will organise, coordinate and moderate regular networking meetings (online and on-site).
- You will be the contact person for the participants, receive their needs and organise specialist inputs and/or coaching as needed and with the support of the Diversity Unit.
- You will participate in exchange meetings with the other coordination persons and the Diversity Unit and report on your work.
What you should bring:
- You have a connection to the topic of your group. Ideally, you have your own experience with the topic and can act as a self-advocate, but this is not a requirement.
- You are motivated to proactively build and shape a peer-to-peer group.
- You feel comfortable or want to challenge yourself to lead groups and conversations.
- You are reliable, communicative and approach tasks in a structured manner.
Framework conditions:
- The time commitment is flexible, depending on the needs of your peer group. Fixed commitments are:
- Organisation of about three P2P networking meetings per semester, including preparation and follow-up
- Participation in one exchange meeting per semester with the other coordination persons and the Diversity Unit
- The compensation is a flat rate of CHF 35 per hour and is paid quarterly upon invoicing.
- You will receive support and guidance from the Diversity Unit.
