We are an independent environmental consulting and engineering company, a pioneer in on-site analytics and accredited as a testing body for sampling + analyses according to ISO 17025. Since 1999, we have been successfully offering professional services for environmental protection, health protection, and safety to authorities, companies, organisations, and private individuals.
We are looking for a motivated laboratory assistant / measurement technician (40-80%) for the laboratory/analytics area starting 01.05.2020 or by arrangement.
Main tasks
- Sample management (recording, archiving, disposal)
- Sample preparation for analyses
- Asbestos and material analyses with light microscopy (PLM)
- Maintenance, device testing, calibrations
Possible additional tasks
Depending on skills, the following additional activities are possible:
- Asbestos and material analyses with SEM-EDS
- Heavy metal analytics (XRF, AFS)
- Evaluation of measurement data
- Preparation of documentation
- Assistance with sampling + air measurements
- Further tasks depending on skills possible
Minimum requirements
- Successful completion of vocational training in analytics or measurement technology (e.g. as laboratory technician, chemical technician), or
- successful completion of a bachelor’s degree at a university/university of applied sciences in a scientific field (geosciences, materials science, physics, chemistry)
- Skills and experience in handling measuring devices
- Analytical thinking ability
- Care, sense of order and accuracy
- Efficient working method
- Good communication skills in spoken and written form (CH, D)
- Experience with MS Office and databases
- Teamwork skills
