The Resources Department (Personnel Service, Finance, IT and Central Services) of the General Church Services provides the personnel and business management foundation for the work of the regional church. To strengthen our Personnel Service, we are looking for a committed individual from 1 October 2026 or by arrangement as

HR Specialist (80%)

Your tasks

• Together with two colleagues, you will be responsible for the complete personnel and payroll administration – from entry to exit – for the pastors in the canton of Zurich. You will be the competent and reliable contact person for employees as well as church congregations on all employment and insurance law matters.

Your profile

• You have an appropriate qualification as well as several years of professional experience in the HR field and sound knowledge of public law personnel regulations, ideally in the canton of Zurich; knowledge of ABACUS software is an advantage.
• A strong service orientation and confident handling of modern IT solutions are natural for you.
• In contact with different people, you communicate empathetically, openly, kindly and professionally.
• You bring the willingness and motivation to quickly familiarise yourself with church personnel law and our specific processes.
