Role:

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer Azure Cloud, you design a cloud platform on which teams work productively every day. The focus is on Microsoft Azure, complemented by Windows Server and modern workplace services. Instead of manual clicking, you rely on PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Technical depth is just as important here as a keen eye for security and costs. Those who prefer to fix causes rather than symptoms will find plenty of scope for creativity in this position.

Responsibilities:

• You build virtual networks, subnets, and security groups and provide suitable compute and storage services.

• Identities and permissions are in your hands. You maintain Microsoft Entra ID including roles, enterprise applications, and app registrations and implement access requirements technically.

• Additionally, you operate the modern workplace with Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Intune.

• You automate recurring operational processes by script and code and specifically develop the Windows Server landscape further.

• Furthermore, you establish monitoring, logging, and alerting and set up backup and recovery solutions.

• You also drive migrations and lifecycle projects forward, resolve faults through root cause analysis, and optimise resources for performance and costs.

Qualifications:

• With at least 3 years of experience in cloud and Windows system engineering, you bring a solid foundation.

• You are well versed in IaaS and PaaS components such as virtual machines, storage, and private networks.

• You are confident in RBAC concepts as well as in Microsoft client and server environments.

• Ideally, you have already worked with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates and write clean, maintainable scripts.

• Moreover, you understand networks holistically, from routing and DNS to VPN and firewalls to hybrid couplings. You are also familiar with Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and business continuity concepts.

• Additionally, you keep an overview in complex fault scenarios. You command German fluently, and English documentation or meetings pose no difficulty.
