Technical Buyer Mechanics (m/f/d)

Your Contribution

• Procurement of mechanical components, semi-finished products and raw materials
• Coordination and monitoring of delivery dates as well as ensuring material availability
• Obtaining quotations, preparing tenders and conducting price negotiations
• Support, evaluation and further development of existing supplier relationships
• Monitoring delivery performance in terms of quality, costs and deadlines Handling quality deviations in cooperation with internal departments and suppliers
• Requesting credit notes as well as organising and processing returns
• Maintenance and management of material master data as well as purchasing and disposition parameters
• Participation in optimisation, quality and supply chain projects

Your Skills and Talents

• Technical basic training (e.g. polymechanic, designer, production mechanic or similar)
• Further training in purchasing or supply chain management is an advantage
• Experience in technical purchasing, supplier management and ideally in the quality environment
• Knowledge in complaint management, supplier development or quality assurance
• Sound SAP and MS Office skills
• Fluent German and very good English skills
• Assertive and communicative personality
