Company Description
The Public Institutions for Integration (EPI) have the mission to contribute to the well-being and social and/or professional integration of people with disabilities or facing difficulties in professional and/or social integration.
More than 900 people are supported in very diverse contexts.
Within the EPI, the Socioprofessional Services are responsible for assessing the physical, social, and learning capacities of people with disabilities or integration difficulties with a view to orientation and professional reintegration. They can also provide them with socioprofessional integration through adapted jobs and training in various production workshops or shops. In this context, the commercial sector includes more than twenty different activity areas offering production services or services to local businesses as well as to public authorities.
Job Description
Your main mission will be to:
- Contribute to the fulfillment of the EPI's mission and the achievement of set objectives while respecting the institution's values.
- Promote the activities, products, and brands of the EPI.
- Participate in the commercial and technical development of the EPI's socioprofessional workshops in the Geneva industrial market, relying on an in-depth knowledge of the local economic fabric.
- Be responsible for prospecting, client follow-up, technical advice, and supporting teams in the evolution of their activity.
- Identify and prospect industrial companies in the Geneva region in the mechanical, locksmithing, carpentry, and microtechnology sectors.
- Understand the technical specificities of the products or solutions offered by the EPI's industrial workshops and be proactive in proposing possible offer evolutions according to the market.
- Develop an existing client portfolio and acquire new strategic accounts.
- Participate in the preparation of commercial offers, negotiate conditions, and close sales.
- Ensure active monitoring of local market opportunities, collaborate with internal teams to guarantee project feasibility, and write visit reports for clients and/or prospects.
Qualifications
- A Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in a technical field or equivalent training in an industrial field and/or commercial training and/or proven field experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a technical-commercial agent in the industry.
- Confirmed initial experience in the Geneva or Romandy region.
- Good knowledge of the Geneva economic fabric and familiarity with key industrial players in Geneva (watchmaking, medtech, mechanics, energy, laboratory, luxury, etc.).
- Initial experience managing public or private tenders.
- Possess a local professional network.
- Comfortable with traditional IT tools, ability to read plans, diagrams, or technical documentation.
- Strong customer service sense and negotiation and communication skills, able to manage a complete sales cycle.
- Agility, autonomy, analytical mindset, solution-oriented, interpersonal ease, ability to create connections, perseverance in prospecting.
- Good command of the French language.
- A strong interest in the mission of integrating people with disabilities or facing integration difficulties.
