For our client in the Basel area, we are looking for a committed and experienced Managing Director Electrical Engineering who will help shape the future of the company with passion and expertise.

Managing Director Electrical Engineering 

Electrical installations · Corporate management and project business | Basel region 

A management that stays close to day-to-day business. 

ProSearch is looking for a managing director for a regionally anchored electrical engineering company in the Basel area. This role combines the management of the company with personal responsibility for larger installation projects, costing and customer relations. A purely administrative leadership person is not sought.

Your responsibilities 

• You manage the company in day-to-day business and ensure clear collaboration with the installation team and scheduling.

• You personally take on larger electrical installation projects, from planning and costing new orders to overseeing implementation.

• You look after existing customers, acquire new orders and represent the company in direct customer contact.

• You help shape the further development of the company and set operational priorities together with the current responsible persons.

Your background 

• You have a solid electrical engineering education and practical experience in electrical installation and project business, ideally with further training at the level of electrical project management. The qualification as a certified electrical installation and safety expert (HFP) is welcome but absolutely not mandatory.

• You can calculate projects, prepare offers and know the commercial requirements in everyday project work.

• You have led specialists, project teams or employees and want to take on entrepreneurial leadership responsibility.

• You are based in the Basel area and well networked here.

Previous experience as a managing director is an advantage but absolutely not required. A committed, engaging and ambitious leadership personality is desired!

Your perspective 

You will take on a versatile management role with direct reference to projects, customers and team. The step from an experienced project or department management function is also possible; a supported induction is planned if necessary and desired!
