Focus on WLAN / NAC / Security

Your responsibility: independent, versatile and collaborative

• Maintenance and expansion of the cantonal network infrastructure
• Configuration and operation of all active network components such as switches, routers, firewalls, proxy servers, load balancers, WLAN and VPN devices
• Monitoring of systems using network management systems regarding function and performance
• Operation and maintenance of DNS, DHCP, IP address management and Radius server infrastructure
• Second-level support in the area of cantonal network and remote access
• Participation in projects as a subject matter expert
• Carrying out maintenance work during off-peak hours and participation in on-call duty

Your profile: experienced, analytical and communicative

• You have a completed Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a comparable qualification and have several years of experience in IT as well as at least two years of experience as a network specialist
• You have additional training in Cisco networks (ideally with CCNA, CCNP or comparable certification)
• Your very good analytical skills and your sense for feasible and beneficial solutions help you master business challenges
• You are an open, team-oriented, communicative and responsible personality with precise and independent working methods

It supports the State Chancellery, the directorates and the courts in economically, efficiently and effectively fulfilling their tasks through digitalisation and automation. The range of services includes the implementation of cross-directorate digitalisation projects, ensuring basic IT services, providing business applications and managing information security.
