Network meets platform: You work where LAN, WLAN, servers, virtualisation and backup interact.
Technology instead of routine: Different customer environments provide varied technical challenges.
From operation to implementation: In addition to ongoing operations, you actively help shape new infrastructures.
Development included: An experienced mentor supports you in specifically expanding your know-how.
Responsibilities:
LAN & WLAN: Operate, analyse and specifically further develop existing networks
HCI & Virtualisation: Support customer platforms based on hyperconverged infrastructure and server virtualisation
Backup: Operate and further develop existing backup environments
Network Engineering: Plan, design and implement network architectures
Vendor technologies: Work with Cisco and Huawei in networking as well as Nutanix, Huawei and VEEAM in the platform environment
Troubleshooting: Analyse and resolve network and platform issues at 1st and 2nd level
Documentation: Document technical environments and operational processes clearly and comprehensibly
Qualifications:
Education: You have completed IT training.
Experience: You bring experience in operating LAN/WLAN networks and/or virtualised platforms.
Interest in technology: Ideally, you have initial knowledge of Cisco, Huawei, Nutanix or server virtualisation.
Development: You are willing to expand your knowledge through targeted training and vendor certifications.
Willingness to learn: You enjoy working with a mentor and want to continuously develop professionally.
Working style: You approach technical challenges independently, analytically and solution-oriented.
Flexibility: You enjoy familiarising yourself with new technologies and different customer environments.
German: Good written and spoken skills
English: Good skills
