About the job
Municipality of Neuhausen am Rheinfall
About 1,200 students attend kindergarten, primary, secondary, or lower secondary school in our municipality. The cantonal work year is also attached to the Neuhausen school. The learners are taught by about 180 teachers in modernly equipped school buildings and kindergartens.
While the kindergartens and primary school (Rosenberg, Kirchacker, and Gemeindewiesen I school buildings) are decentralized across the municipality, the secondary school is located in the Gemeindeweisen II school building, and the lower secondary school and work year are housed in the Rosenberg school building.
The proven school model of kindergarten and primary school strengthens the regular classes through team teaching and special education support. It enables addressing the needs of individual students.
To complement our team, we are looking for a
Class Teacher in Kindergarten 100% starting 01.08.2026
Your tasks with us
You will act as a
Your tasks include, among others
- Leading a kindergarten class
- Organizing and participating in seasonal events
- Close collaboration with the team teacher, special education teacher, and DaZ teacher (1 person)
- Planning, conducting, and evaluating lessons
- Participating in the overall kindergarten team and the committee of the first cycle of the neighborhood school building
You will be supported by another specialist with these responsibilities
Support by an assistant is also included. This is for at least 2 additional mornings or more often (depending on the schooling situation of individual students).
- School special education teacher (1 morning per week)
- DaZ teacher (1 morning per week)
- Team teaching (1 morning per week)
We expect from you
- Strong interest in intercultural engagement
- Communicative and team-oriented personality with high social competence
- Active thinking and shaping in school development
- Co-organization and participation in school events
- Persons with foreign diplomas must have recognition from the EDK
- A DaZ additional qualification would be desirable (or at least willingness to obtain it)
