Your tasks
- You independently carry out treatments under supervision within the outpatient team of the Competence Centre for Forensics and accompany patients as part of a comprehensive forensic psychiatric treatment chain.
- With a crime-preventive and risk-oriented approach, you make an important contribution to treatment and work closely with external treatment partners as well as referring authorities.
- A varied working day with regular professional exchange, interdisciplinary case discussions and training offers you the opportunity to continuously expand your knowledge and actively contribute to our treatment team.
- You take on responsible tasks and actively shape your area of work with a high degree of personal responsibility and professional scope for design.
Your profile
- You are a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy or are in an advanced phase of your training as an assistant physician and want to specifically advance your professional development.
- Interest in forensic psychiatry as well as the motivation to continuously develop yourself in this field.
- You meet the requirements for obtaining the professional practice permit of the canton of St.Gallen at the latest upon starting the position or have the necessary qualifications to obtain it by then.
- A high sense of responsibility, decisiveness and a reflective working style characterise you and enable you to deal professionally with complex clinical and forensic issues.
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form at least at level C1 enable you to communicate securely and appropriately with patients, authorities as well as internal and external professionals.

First day of work
