Our unique chalet, built from reclaimed wood and furnished with great attention to detail, has delighted numerous guests for years as the "Chalet for Fondue." With 160 seats indoors, it offers the ideal setting for unforgettable moments. The chalet is now becoming a permanent year-round operation in Rapperswil-Jona. In addition to the popular fondue during the winter months, our guests can look forward to a seasonal à la carte menu throughout the year, combining tradition and modernity, both at lunch and in the evening.

Furthermore, the chalet is available for private and corporate events, from general meetings and company celebrations to weddings.

Your tasks

• Overall responsibility for smooth operations and leadership of the entire team (service, kitchen, back office, permanent staff and temporary workers)
• Reservation management and guest correspondence
• Creation of duty rosters and time tracking
• Quality assurance and compliance with hygiene and safety standards
• Active participation and leadership in service with a focus on personal guest care, including à la carte lunch and evening service
• Coordination between service and kitchen for an optimal guest experience

Your profile

• You have solid knowledge of the gastronomy sector and preferably hold a qualification as a restaurant specialist, or you are a student or graduate of a Swiss hotel management school
• You have experience in personnel management and excellent communication skills
• You are a team player with a positive attitude
• You are accustomed to flexible working hours and have a passion for gastronomy
• You have very good German and English skills
