For the Radiation Monitoring Nuclear Facilities group, we are looking for a
Radiation Protection Specialist
Your Tasks
You ensure operational radiation protection during the decommissioning of nuclear facilities, particularly the Diorit research reactor. Your main tasks include sampling and clearance measurement of dismantled components and standing building structures. In addition, you monitor and document radiation protection-relevant activities within the scope of the decommissioning.
Your Profile
You have a recognised qualification as a radiation protection specialist and wish to contribute your experience at the Paul Scherrer Institute. Ideally, you bring experience in decommissioning and clearance measurement in nuclear facilities. You enjoy taking responsibility, work precisely, and are characterised by teamwork and strong communication skills. MS Office knowledge is an advantage. You are proficient in German, both spoken and written.
