Your tasks
- Selection, acquisition, cataloguing and equipping of media
- Collection maintenance
- Loan service and advice to library users (teachers, students, lecturers)
- Participation in projects
- Active involvement in shaping everyday library life
Your profile
- Information and Documentation Specialist with Federal VET Diploma or equivalent qualification, with professional experience
- Knowledge of cataloguing according to RDA
- Experience with the library software winMedio or Alma is an advantage
- Enjoyment in contact with people and a service-oriented working style

Your working environment
The Didactic Centre is a specialised library for educational media and professional literature in the fields of pedagogy and didactics. It is open to all educational professionals of public and private schools in the Canton of Zug as well as to students of the Teacher Training Colleges.
The Didactic Centre is a department of the Office for Municipal Schools and is subordinate to the Directorate for Education and Culture. As part of the planned "Campus PH Zug" project, it is intended that the Didactic Centre and the PH Zug Media Library will be operated at a common location in the future.
