What you will do here
- Teach bachelor and master students majoring in E-Bass Jazz and Contemporary Music as well as stylistic ensembles
- Build your own class and support students towards their diplomas
- Promote the musical skills of the students as well as their ability to reflect and creativity with regard to the music and teaching market
- Support the development of a transdisciplinary oriented university together with the faculty; participate in juries and commissions
- Engage with research and mediation questions around current music practice and set your own impulses
What you ideally bring with you
- Successfully completed university studies in E-Bass Jazz, international artistic charisma and extensive performance experience
- Didactic aptitude and teaching experience at university level, knowledge of the diversity of methods in current music teaching. Language skills in German, French and/or English
- Wide stylistic range beyond the core jazz repertoire; experience in music mediation and research questions and formats desired
- Willingness to be present weekly in Bern during the semester
