You will achieve the following with us- Leading and motivating the entire branch team
- Conducting employee discussions and performance evaluations
- Promoting a positive working atmosphere and team development
- Recruiting, onboarding and developing employees
- Checking the continuous expansion of specialist knowledge
- Ensuring smooth and efficient branch operations
- Creating staff deployment planning
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Being responsible for cash processes and daily cash reconciliations
- Monitoring product availability and inventory management
- Coordinating product presentation and assortment design according to corporate guidelines
- Personally advising and supporting customers regarding our entire small animal range
- Handling customer complaints
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Sales training, retail training and/or several years of experience in retail
- Several years of leadership experience (coaching/developing employees, conducting annual employee appraisals, etc.)
- Trainer certificate or willingness to complete the trainer course (always necessary, possibly apprentices are already trained in the branch and the branch manager must be a certified trainer or possibly
- apprentices will be trained in the future)
- Experience in pet retail is an advantage
- Flexible sales personality with a passion for animals
- Responsible working style as well as a neat and likeable appearance
- Team spirit and communication skills
- Organisational skills (hands-on mentality), endurance and stress resistance
