MAIN TASKS

• Technical responsibility for the mechanical design of exhaust aftertreatment systems
• Creation of project-specific layout, approval, and manufacturing drawings
• Main contact person for CAD support in local projects
• Regular collaboration with steel construction suppliers
• Technical support for sales, project management, purchasing, quality assurance, and service
• Initiation and management of development projects as well as active participation in project teams
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and guidelines (UL, ASME, AWS, DIN, EN, ISO, …)
• Participation in product development and measures for product standardisation
• Support in failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) as well as hazard and operability analysis (HAZOP)
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies as a mechanical engineer/designer or comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a CAD designer
• Confident handling of 3D CAD software for mechanical design; experience with Autodesk Inventor is an advantage
• Familiarity with PDM/PLM and structured bill of materials management
• Relevant experience in steel construction, especially welded structures
• High degree of independence and reliability
• Strong team and communication skills
• Hands-on mentality as well as a structured and methodical approach
• Very good written and spoken language skills in German and English; Italian or Dutch is an advantage
