What to expect
- An experienced team of Product Manager and Category Marketing Manager with great passion
- Responsibility for the strategic development of the Computing Category with a focus on clear KPIs as well as sustainable revenue growth and profitability (revenue, margin and portfolio quality).
- Development and consistent implementation of the category strategy in line with business unit goals as well as market and customer requirements
- Continuous analysis of data, market trends and business potentials to further develop the portfolio
- Definition, management and control of the pricing strategy across all sales channels
- Building, maintaining and further developing strategic manufacturer relationships at top level in the commercial and consumer sectors
- Responsibility for contract and price negotiations as well as preparation and execution of business reviews with manufacturers and partners
- Close cooperation with sales, platforms, marketing and other internal interfaces to optimally exploit market potentials
- Planning and coordination of collaboration with various sales areas as well as support for project business
- Further development and optimisation of internal processes as well as promotion of efficient cross-departmental collaboration
- Professional and personnel management of the team including targeted promotion and development of employees
What you bring
- Several years of leadership experience with clear result responsibility in a comparable position in category management, product management or business development in the ICT or computing environment
- Sound market knowledge in the computing sector as well as a good understanding of the manufacturer landscape
- Completed commercial or technical basic training with business management further education
- Experience in developing and implementing business, portfolio and growth strategies under price and margin pressure
- Proven success in independent leadership and successful completion of negotiations with manufacturers, suppliers and strategic partners
- Entrepreneurial thinking, numerically oriented and decisive as well as result-oriented
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working style
- High communication and assertiveness skills as well as confident appearance at all hierarchical levels
- Fluent German skills as well as very good English skills
- An existing network in the ICT or computing industry is an advantage
