About the job
Our product division at Ringier Medien Schweiz is responsible for the digital presence of a broad and renowned product portfolio, including well-known titles such as Blick, Beobachter, and Handelszeitung. We drive the digital transformation of our media brands and ensure that our offerings are always up to date. To strengthen our team in Zurich, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Product Manager Digital Beobachter – actively shape the digital future of our offerings with us.

Your tasks
- Product strategy & end-to-end responsibility: You are responsible for the digital Beobachter products throughout the entire lifecycle from strategy to the finished app.
- Discovery & conception: You identify real user needs and develop effective product concepts together with business, UX, engineering, and data teams.
- Prioritisation & delivery: You prioritise topics according to business impact and user benefit and reliably accompany the teams from backlog to launch.
- Collaboration & coordination: You manage the collaboration between editorial, engineering, data, and growth teams and always create clear priorities.
- Data analysis & optimisation: You continuously define and analyse KPIs and derive targeted optimisations from them.
- Stakeholder communication: You communicate transparently with the brand business owner, editorial management, and growth teams about priorities and progress and represent product decisions convincingly.
Your profile
- Professional experience: You bring at least 2 years of experience in digital product management, preferably in media, subscription, or service environments.
- End-to-end responsibility: You live end-to-end product management and take responsibility from the first idea to final implementation.
- Implementation strength: You combine strategic sharpness with strong execution skills and reliably bring your projects to completion.
- Data & user focus: You make product decisions based on data and user orientation while always keeping business objectives in mind.
- Agile mindset & technical understanding: You master agile working methods confidently and communicate on equal terms with engineering teams thanks to your good technical understanding.
- Language skills: You express yourself fluently in German and have good English skills.
Recruiting process
- Your profile fits? Then it can be quick, as our aim is to reach a contract conclusion within a short time.
- After reviewing your documents, there will be a telephone interview for initial clarifications and appointment scheduling.
- Then follows a video call with Roland Sailer, our Head of Product, and Manuela Wyss, our recruiting partner (duration approx. 45 to 60 minutes).
- Next, you will meet the team on site.
- And then, ideally, the contract offer will follow.
