ERP Software Engineer (m/f/d)
How do you stop a drone in mid-air? Our Rocken partner develops and produces intelligent interception systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. With electrically powered Sentinel systems reaching speeds of up to 230 km/h, the company protects critical infrastructures from unwanted aerial intruders. Develop software that truly advances business processes: This role combines modern software development with ERP, data, and business logic. We are looking for a person who translates complex requirements into robust solutions while keeping architecture, code quality, and user-friendliness in mind.
Responsibilities:
Further development of a central ERP and business application landscape
Development of new software features along concrete business processes
Translation of business requirements into scalable and maintainable software architectures
Analysis of existing processes and identification of automation and optimisation potential
Development of modern interfaces between ERP, internal applications, and external platforms
Design of clean data models and reliable data flows
Further development of user interfaces for professional users
Refactoring of existing components with a focus on technical sustainability
Conducting code reviews and establishing modern engineering standards
Development of automated tests to secure critical business logic
Analysis of complex error patterns and implementation of sustainable solutions
Accompanying software changes from the initial concept to productive deployment
Close collaboration with business units, product owners, and technical interfaces
Continuous improvement of development processes and toolchain
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in developing ERP, business, or enterprise applications
Good knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as C#, C++, Java, or equivalent
Understanding of object-oriented software development and modern architectural principles
Experience with relational databases, data models, and SQL
Ability to technically analyse business processes and map them into software
Experience with REST APIs, integrations, or distributed application systems
Experience with Git and modern software development processes
Quality awareness for readable, testable, and maintainable code in the long term
Analytical thinking for complex technical and business issues
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Enjoyment in collaboratively developing technical solutions with business users
