Internship in Care & Support

The tilia Foundation for Long-Term Care is the leading provider of complex long-term care in the Bern region. At five locations, we support people from the age of 18 who require care and support. Our services include residential long-term living areas, specialised departments for people with dementia and respiratory diseases, as well as neurological and bariatric long-term care, complemented by outpatient services. We work according to the care organisation system of primary nursing. Palliative care is an integral part of our nursing attitude and our daily actions.

At tilia, you do not work in a traditional nursing home, but in a clinically demanding environment at the interface between acute hospital, rehabilitation, and complex long-term care.

Would you like to take on a versatile role in the field of care & support?

We offer you a position for three to six months starting immediately or by arrangement as

• Professional care and support of our residents under the guidance of a specialist
• Making an important contribution to the quality of life of the residents
• Assisting with household tasks and material management
• Co-responsible for a positive and constructive living and working atmosphere

• Enjoyment of care activities and sensitivity in dealing with persons in need of care from 18 years of age
• Good German skills (spoken and written)
• Sense of responsibility, team-oriented thinking, initiative, and high quality standards

• Varied activity in an open-minded team
• It is also possible to complete the 15-day internship for the SRK nursing assistant course
• Occupational health management
• Membership in the Long-Term Care Collective Labour Agreement 2027
