Your tasks:
In this position, you will develop and shape application-oriented research and teaching in the field of Human Factors with a focus on safety and/or human-machine interaction in the digitized working world. You have great design freedom and work in an innovative environment as part of a cooperative team. Your areas of activity are very diverse:
- Conceptualization and management of innovative application-oriented research and development projects with high added value for the involved practice partners and the working world
- Teaching in the degree programs (BSc, MSc) and in further education (CAS, MAS) and the opportunity to design and lead further education programs
- Active participation in the strategic positioning and further development of activities related to Human Factors in organizations from various (high-risk) sectors
- Acquisition of third-party funding
- Building and leading a research team
- Active networking with internal and external stakeholders
Your profile:
You are a team-oriented and convincing person with a university degree in psychology and a doctorate, preferably in the field of work and organizational psychology. In addition, you bring the following:
- Proven experience in acquiring and managing third-party funded research and development projects with practice partners; ideally in Human Factors with a focus on safety and/or human-machine interaction in the digitized working world
- Experience in leading a team
- Relevant several years of professional experience in the private sector and the application fields of work and organizational psychology
- Experience in university teaching as well as a higher education didactic qualification or the willingness to acquire this in the course of the first years
- Established network in the Swiss economy and good knowledge of the Swiss higher education landscape
- Excellent German and English in spoken and written form
- High degree of initiative and responsibility
