Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer – Microsoft Entra ID / Azure

Job description:

• Development and implementation of automation solutions for Microsoft Entra ID
• Management of App Registrations, Enterprise Applications, Conditional Access policies and Administrative Units
• Automation of cloud infrastructure with Terraform
• Development of APIs and automation solutions with Go, Python or Bash
• Development, implementation and maintenance of authentication and authorisation processes
• Creation of conceptual specifications for OAuth 2.0, SAML and OpenID Connect flows
• Implementation of single sign-on solutions for various applications
• Creation and continuous optimisation of authentication and authorisation rules
• Establishment of automated tests and monitoring solutions
• Management and optimisation of Azure and Microsoft 365 services in the area of identity and security
• Monitoring current developments to secure Microsoft Entra ID
• Further development of a framework for monitoring security-relevant configurations
• Creation of technical documentation
• Training of internal teams on Microsoft Entra ID and DevOps topics
• Collaboration within an agile team according to Scrum or SAFe

About the customer:

In this role, you develop automation solutions for Microsoft Entra ID and the associated cloud services. You combine profound identity and security expertise with DevOps methods and Infrastructure as Code. You work on secure authentication and authorisation solutions and support the further expansion of the Microsoft Azure platform.

Requirements:

• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure
• Profound knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, especially Conditional Access, Identity Protection and Application Proxy
• Very good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Experience with Azure core services and cloud security technologies
• Good knowledge of authentication protocols and IAM standards, especially OAuth 2.0, SAML and OpenID Connect
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD and GitLab
• Programming or scripting experience with Go, Python or Bash
• Understanding of network security as well as authentication and authorisation concepts
• Ideally experience with Microsoft 365
• Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or SAFe
• Completed computer science education at a university of applied sciences or university or a comparable qualification
• Quick comprehension as well as an analytical and conceptual way of thinking
• High quality and security awareness
• Structured, precise and independent working style
• Strong team, communication and customer orientation
• Very good German skills at least at level C1
• Good English skills at least at level B2
