Junior Controller

About the job

As a Junior Controller, you will gain a broad insight into the controlling of Migros Aare. You will be carefully trained, gradually take on more responsibility, and develop professionally towards becoming a Controller or Business Partner Controlling. You will be supported by an experienced controlling team that shares knowledge and works closely together.

What you will achieve

• You support our Business Partners with reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and multi-year planning
• You prepare recurring evaluations, analyses, and decision-making bases for management
• You contribute to monthly closings and the monthly divisional accounting and ensure high data quality
• You assist with profitability calculations as well as cross-departmental projects and ad-hoc analyses
• You further develop evaluations and reports in Excel, use Power BI for analyses, and help to standardise and automate controlling processes
• You gradually take on your own controlling topics

What you bring

• Education: Completed degree (Uni/ETH, FH, HF)
• Field of study: or a degree shortly before completion or a comparable further education in business administration, finance, or controlling
• Professional experience: Initial practical experience in finance, accounting, or controlling environment, for example through permanent employment or an internship
• You work analytically, structured, and carefully and enjoy working with numbers
• You have very good Excel skills; experience with SAP and Power BI is an advantage
• You communicate clearly, enjoy working with different departments, and present appropriately for the audience
• You are willing to learn, flexible, and motivated to gradually take on more responsibility
• German (C1)
