Due to retirement, we are looking for a

Scientific Researcher

from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement

• Management and scientific support of diverse health policy and medical projects as well as representation of the Health Department in projects and expert committees
• Development of concepts, processes, and decision-making bases as well as further development of internal processes
• Scientific support of commissions and working groups
• Processing of parliamentary initiatives and consultations
• Professional collaboration in the field of communicable diseases and reporting, including on-call service on weekends and public holidays
• Advice and information on health-related issues to professionals, specialist offices, as well as patients

• Degree in human medicine or a university master’s degree in natural, humanities, or social sciences
• Several years of professional experience in healthcare, research, or the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in project management and enthusiasm for developing concepts and processes
• Interest in health policy issues and public health as well as good knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system
• Independent, structured, and service-oriented working style
• Initiative, flexible, and communicative personality
• Confident oral and written expression as well as good IT application skills
