To strengthen our team at the Centre for Assessment and Short-Term Therapy (ZAK) of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service Thurgau, we are looking for a psychologist from November 2026 or by arrangement

Psychologist with enthusiasm for working in a subacute setting and short-term therapies

Since January 2025, the Centre for Assessment and Short-Term Therapy (ZAK) has been promptly (usually within 4 weeks) summoning and assessing all children and adolescents over 6 years registered with the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Service Thurgau who have a high urgency, providing child and adolescent psychiatric evaluation. Depending on the situation, only an initial assessment and subsequent triage within or outside the KJPD Thurgau, or a short assessment or short-term therapy, is conducted.

You will take on

• Independent conduct of initial interviews with subsequent triage under present senior physician supervision and guidance
• Conducting short assessments and short-term therapies
• Occasional longer psychotherapeutic treatments as part of your psychotherapy training

You bring with you

• At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry
