The Reformed Church Community of Zurich is the largest and most populous church community in Switzerland. With a wide range of meaningful fields of activity, the focus is on people. The administrative office forms the service centre of the Zurich church community. In total, the church community employs around 500 staff. To support our motivated HR team, we are looking for a committed individual from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement as

HR Specialist (40%)

Your Tasks

• You write employment references with sensitivity, care and high quality and act as a competent contact person advising our managers 
• You support our recruitment specialist throughout the entire recruitment process from job posting to hiring and take on deputy and holiday cover duties on Thursdays and Fridays 
• You ensure a professional and timely execution of your administrative HR processes while always keeping an overview 
• You communicate professionally and appropriately with employees, managers and external stakeholders 
• You actively contribute to the further development and digitalisation of our HR processes

Your Profile

• Commercial basic training with a federal HR specialist certificate or equivalent qualification 
• Several years of experience in the personnel field, ideally in a public-law or comparable environment 
• High IT affinity and proficient use of common Microsoft Office applications 
• Committed, service-oriented personality with strong communication skills and a confident manner 
• Fluent German in spoken and written form and enjoyment in shaping and continuously improving processes
