Head Psychologist of the Childhood and Adolescence Department

In tandem with the Head Physician of the department, you will ensure the clinical, educational and managerial leadership of the Childhood and Adolescence Department.

As a member of the Management Committee, you actively participate in the institution's strategic reflections and contribute to the development of mental health services intended for children, adolescents and their families.

You are responsible for the quality of psychological services, the development of teams and the postgraduate training of psychologists within an institution recognised as a P1 category training centre.

Within the scope of your role, you will be required to:

Governance and leadership

• Define and implement the clinical vision of the department.
• Translate the CNP's strategic orientations into operational objectives.
• Participate in budget management and activity monitoring.
• Develop a culture of interprofessional collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, support and develop the psychologists of the department.

Clinical leadership

• Ensure the quality of services and their suitability to the needs of the population.
• Support the development of new clinical devices and projects.
• Promote the smoothness of care pathways and transversal collaborations.
• Ensure compliance with professional, ethical and regulatory standards.

Training and research

• Ensure the quality of postgraduate training for psychologists.
• Supervise the responsible psychologists.
• Maintain the institution's recognition as a P1 training centre.
• Encourage clinical research and the scientific influence of the CNP.
• Develop collaborations with academic and professional partners.

The skills required for this position are as follows:

• Federal or federally recognised title in psychotherapy allowing billing to the AOS.
• Confirmed experience of at least 3 years in a similar role (management or service responsibility in psychiatry) or equivalent experience.
• Training in management (CAS or equivalent) or willingness to undertake it.
• Possession of a doctorate as well as academic or research experience are assets.
• Excellent knowledge of the issues of child and adolescent mental health.
• Strong interest in institutional development, training and research.
• Unifying leadership, strategic vision and ability to lead change.
