Presentation
The Human Resources Service of Unil provides significant support and professional expertise for all seven Faculties and the University Management. The Service is composed of six divisions, including the human resources management division. This division is structured into four human resources management units responsible for HR management and advice for the entire University of Lausanne. The Service reports directly to the Unil Management.
To complement the management units, the Human Resources Service is looking for a specialised HR manager at 80-100%.

Start date: immediate or to be agreed
Contract duration: one-year fixed-term contract
Work rate: 80% - 100%
Workplace: Château de Dorigny - Unil Campus
Your Activities
You will be part of the human resources management unit for the Faculty of Biology and Medicine and a member of a dynamic team of 5 people. The unit’s management includes an HR manager and an HR advisor. In collaboration with the team, you will carry out administrative human resources management tasks related to the staff lifecycle. Areas of responsibility (portfolio, allocation of departments and research units, etc.) are assigned to each team member. You will work in pairs or independently, aiming to contribute professionally to the positive resolution of situations.
The general tasks entrusted to you are as follows:
- Ensure the administrative management and monitoring of personnel files in the assigned sector, including aspects related to remuneration;
- Collaborate with the team and management composing the human resources management unit in HR management activities;
- Support and inform internal and external UNIL entities or persons on matters related to human resources administration and provide assistance in delivering all the unit’s services;
- Participate in optimising activities, processes, and services in the human resources management domain.

Your Profile
To complete the HR team, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
- At least 5 years’ experience in HR administrative management, ideally with experience in a public service, academic, or international organisation;
- Required qualifications: Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or equivalent qualification. HR manager certificate or equivalent qualification;
- Specific skills: service orientation, excellent organisation, listening and communication, autonomy and sense of responsibility, analytical and synthesis skills, rigour and precision, proactivity, team spirit and cooperation, ease of working in a network, flexibility.
- Excellent command of French and English (level B1), excellent command of office tools (MS Office);
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
