Role:
Cloud infrastructure only unfolds its strength when engineering and operations go hand in hand. As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you are responsible for exactly this connection and further develop a modern Microsoft Azure platform with foresight. You link identity, network, and workplace into a stable overall solution. Automation is standard for you, not an add-on. Here you actively shape and take on real technical responsibility.
Responsibilities:
You design and operate cloud resources such as virtual networks, network security groups (NSGs), as well as compute and storage services.
For Microsoft Entra ID, you configure roles, app registrations, and enterprise applications.
You implement and manage Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Microsoft Intune.
Furthermore, you automate recurring operational processes with PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
You analyse complex incidents across network, identity, and Windows Server and conduct thorough root cause analyses.
Additionally, you plan cloud migrations and lifecycle measures and optimise existing resources regarding cost, security, and performance.
Qualifications:
You bring at least 3 years of solid experience in cloud and Windows system engineering.
You are well versed with IaaS and PaaS components, virtual machines, storage, and private networking.
You also have solid knowledge of RBAC, Windows Server, and modern client infrastructures.
You have practical experience with Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
Monitoring with Log Analytics, alerting concepts, as well as backup and business continuity solutions are familiar to you.
Furthermore, you understand DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls, and hybrid network connections and keep an overview even with complex problems.
