Are you looking for a key role with strategic foresight? As an experienced Real Estate Asset Manager, you will shape the further development of our property portfolio as well as project developments with strategic acumen and creative flair, effectively positioning Intershop's real estate in the market through innovative concepts.
Your responsibilities
- Responsibility for the management and business results of a sub-portfolio focusing on commercial, office, residential, and industrial properties
- Developing and implementing convincing property strategies, which are presented within business plans
- Active development and realisation of development potential within major renovation and construction projects (including new builds, conversions, redevelopment, repositioning, etc.)
- Monitoring regional real estate markets and identifying holistic opportunities and risks for sustainable optimisation of property performance
- Valuation of properties
- Support in real estate transactions during the due diligence process with property and market assessments as well as defining their property strategies
- Maintaining and expanding our industry contacts
Your profile
- Business and/or technical education with a Master’s degree (University of Applied Sciences/University) as well as additional real estate management training (MAS Real Estate Management or similar) or equivalent educational level
- Several years of professional experience as an Asset or Investment Manager, ideally with solid know-how in the commercial and institutional real estate sector of the Swiss market
- Entrepreneurial and results-oriented person who approaches challenges positively, develops solutions with a creative mind, and represents them convincingly
- Strong skills in analysing and summarising complex issues
- Sound knowledge in applying conventional and financial valuation methods (e.g. DCF)
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary work with various internal and external stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and the ability to think networked and creatively
- High commitment, independence, and a professional appearance
- Good French and English skills are a plus
