Housekeeping Manager 100% (m/f/d)
Your daily work
- Operational management of the housekeeping area (including lingerie and floristry) in close cooperation with the Executive Housekeeper
- Independent organisation, coordination, and daily allocation of employees
- Deputising for the Executive Housekeeper during absences
- Ensuring cleanliness, order, and guest satisfaction according to internal standards (SDH/LHW), including quality checks in rooms and public areas
- Professional handling of guest requests and complaints
- Training, coaching, promotion, and motivation of employees
- Responsibility for uniform management and laundry supply
- Inventory, requirements determination, and material ordering
- Participation in budget planning, duty, and holiday schedules
- Close cooperation with Front Office, technical services, and other hotel departments
- Active involvement in the further development and optimisation of housekeeping processes
What we expect from you
- Completed vocational training in housekeeping, hotel management, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in housekeeping in upscale hotels, ideally with initial leadership experience
- Independent, structured working style with high quality standards and an eye for detail
- Enjoyment of leadership as well as a communicative, solution-oriented team player
- Organisational talent, strong cost awareness, and resilience in demanding situations
- Very good German and English skills, any additional language is an advantage
- Very good MS Office skills and openness to digital hotel systems
