Job Description

Responsibilities
- Carry out tests or analyses according to given instructions. Routine tests: unsupervised
- New or complex tests: supervised by an experienced/senior laboratory technician or chemist
- Apply methods and procedures related to the products handled in the laboratory
- Use specific equipment according to laboratory organisation
- Ensure knowledge of HSEQ risks and comply with HSEQ rules and quality assurance procedures related to the activity
- Prepare simple reports or transcribe results into appropriate IT systems (LIMS, SAP, TTCS, LINK, etc.)
- Identify changes/improvements to laboratory procedures. Propose development programmes and discuss them with the responsible laboratory technician
- Always ensure the workplace (fume hood, laboratory tables, desk) is organised in a clean and safe manner
Qualifications
Required
- Laboratory technician certificate or equivalent
- Knowledge of HSEQ procedures and systems for safe laboratory work
- Good knowledge of basic IT tools (Microsoft Office)
- Fluent French and knowledge of English is an advantage
