Role:
For a technically versatile security environment, a personality is sought who combines system engineering and cyber security. The position includes analysing security incidents, implementing protective measures, as well as collaborating on customer projects and the further development of modern security platforms.
Responsibilities:
Analysis of security alerts and suspicious activities as well as investigation of affected systems and identities
Support in containment and remediation of security incidents including documentation and customer communication
Planning and implementation of system and cyber security projects in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
Configuration, testing, and acceptance of systems and security functions
Evaluation of automated vulnerability and configuration checks as well as prioritisation of necessary measures with customers
Implementation and review of hardening, authorisation, and security measures
Operation and fault analysis of the internal security platform
Development and optimisation of detection rules, playbooks, and security automations
Reduction of false positives and automation of recurring analysis and preparation processes
Sharing technical insights and improvement suggestions with development and security teams
Qualifications:
Education in computer science or comparable technical qualification
Practical experience in system engineering and/or cyber security
Knowledge of Windows Server, Windows clients, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365
Understanding of the interaction between systems, identities, and networks
Initial experience with endpoint security, system hardening, security monitoring, or identity security
Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR or Microsoft Sentinel is an advantage
Experience with PowerShell and KQL is an advantage
Willingness to engage with new security topics
Fluent German skills and good English skills
