Cloud & DevOps Engineer (60-80%)

Are you confident navigating between cloud, infrastructure, and code?

Perfect. With us, you will operate and further develop our Azure cloud platform, automate processes with Infrastructure as Code, and ensure that our Windows and Linux systems remain reliable, secure, and future-proof.

You work at the interface between system engineering and DevOps and actively contribute your ideas to the further development of our platforms. Together with the team, you implement exciting projects and support our employees and ICT customers with technical questions.

The special thing: With your work, you make a direct contribution to environmental and sustainability topics. Our specialised applications and measurement data systems support important decisions in the environmental sector. As part of our team, you ensure that these systems function reliably and are continuously developed.

Your tasks

• Operation, monitoring, and further development of our Azure infrastructure
• Administration of Windows and Linux systems
• Support of specialised applications
• Automation of operational processes
• Implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code solutions
• Monitoring, performance optimisation, and further development of our platforms
• Participation in cloud, DevOps, and infrastructure projects
• Support of our employees and ICT customers in operational operations
• Co-design of a secure, stable, and modern system landscape

What you should bring 

• Completed university degree in computer science, systems engineering, cloud computing, or DevOps, or completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist EFZ, systems technician, or in a related field (cloud, DevOps) with relevant professional experience
• Interest in modern cloud and automation technologies
• Independent, structured, and careful working style
• Enjoyment in taking responsibility and developing solutions together in a team
• Willingness to learn new things and develop professionally
• Interest in environmental and sustainability topics
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills

Your profile is rounded off by

• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge in monitoring, security, and system operation
• Cloud, Azure, or DevOps certifications
• First contact with container technologies or Kubernetes
• Confident handling of Windows and Linux systems
