The Swiss Technical College Winterthur (STFW) is one of the most modern training centres nationwide – shaped by tradition and committed to the future. At this leading educational centre for business, trade and industry, over 9,500 people from the vehicle, building, electrical and communication technology sectors as well as the Higher Technical College are trained and further educated annually.

Your job with us
- You ensure smooth scheduling and deployment planning together with the team.
- You take on tasks in the management of planning bases, rough planning and detailed planning.
- You coordinate the deployment of teachers, resources and other planning-relevant elements.
- You support the department heads and other internal offices with reliable bases for optimal utilisation.
- You actively contribute to the further development of our planning processes and participate in the implementation of new software.
- You maintain interfaces with other support areas and ensure efficient information flow.
- You participate in projects for process optimisation and organisational development.
- You document procedures, prepare documents and contribute to the sustainable safeguarding of know-how.
- Even though our focus is on structure, resources and precise planning, interpersonal matters are not neglected. You can expect a small, uncomplicated team that supports each other, thinks together and also enjoys laughing together.
What you bring with you
- Completed commercial training with further education in the field of disposition, organisation or a comparable orientation, alternatively corresponding practical experience.
- Experience in resource planning, deployment planning, disposition or a similarly structured environment is an advantage.
- Very good user knowledge of MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- Strong interest in structured work with modern tools and in the further development of processes.
- Independent, careful and solution-oriented working style with high reliability.
- Confident German language skills in spoken and written form as well as enjoyment in communication at different levels.
- Team spirit, resilience and willingness to take responsibility.
- Openness to change and enjoyment in actively shaping a changing environment.
- You work very precisely, structured and proactively, but you are anything but a robot: you bring humour, team spirit and an uncomplicated manner and appreciate personal exchange as much as clean planning.
