Senior DevOps Engineer

Your tasks

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a critical player in designing, building, and operating a new digital platform. Working in a highly collaborative, agile environment, you will take full ownership of tasks throughout the DevOps lifecycle, from design and automation to deployment and operations

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
At least 6 years of professional experience in a comparable role
Strong experience in modern IT environments (DevOps, Cloud, and Security)
Experience working in agile teams and using agile methodologies
Independent, goal-oriented work ethic with excellent communication skills
Language Requirement: German B2–C1 (mandatory)
Willingness to relocate to the central region in Switzerland
Automation & Infrastructure:
Provisioning & configuration (no virtualization layer)
Configuration management and orchestration with GitLab CI/CD
Containers & Virtualization:
Containerization: Docker, Podman
Container orchestration: OpenShift or Kubernetes knowledge
Programming & Scripting:
Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, and Go
Experience developing or maintaining internal tools and scripts
Security & DevOps Practices:
Integration of security best practices throughout the CI/CD pipeline
Vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance automation
Systems & OS:
Deep hands-on experience with Linux-based systems and modern open-source tooling
System performance monitoring, logging (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stack)
Agile & Collaboration Tools:
Agile project management with Jira, knowledge sharing via Confluence
Git-based version control (GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket)
Working experience in cross-functional teams (Dev, Sec, Ops, Data Science)
