Role:
You want to not only implement cloud solutions technically but also thoughtfully design their architecture from the outset? In this role, you take a central part in developing modern Azure platforms. You analyse requirements, develop viable architectural concepts, and define standards for security, governance, and automation. You work on demanding cloud and hybrid cloud scenarios, ensuring that the resulting solutions are sustainable, controllable, and designed for future requirements.
Responsibilities:
You develop cloud strategies and architectural concepts for scalable Microsoft Azure environments, guided by the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and Enterprise Scale.
You design and optimise hub-spoke networks, define appropriate connections between network segments, considering security requirements, performance, and future scaling.
You develop governance and compliance guidelines, establish technical standards, and ensure consistent implementation of best practices within cloud environments.
You design security concepts for identities and permissions and implement solutions with Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and RBAC.
You plan hybrid architectures that reliably connect existing on-premises systems and Azure services.
You automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure with Terraform and rely on traceable, repeatable infrastructure-as-code processes.
You design and operate container-based platforms based on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), considering requirements for scaling, security, and operation.
You translate business and technical requirements into robust architectural decisions and document concepts so that they serve as a basis for implementation and operation.
You evaluate new technical possibilities and engage with AI-supported development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as needed.
Qualifications:
You have a degree from a university of applied sciences or university in computer science or a related technical field.
You have several years of experience in designing and implementing cloud architectures, especially in the Microsoft Azure environment.
You can analyse complex requirements and derive comprehensible cloud strategies, architectural concepts, and technical standards.
You have solid knowledge of Terraform and Kubernetes, ideally complemented by practical experience with AKS.
You are familiar with cloud governance, compliance requirements, security architectures, and the design of hybrid infrastructures.
You have in-depth knowledge of network design, especially in the conception and management of Azure networks.
Ideally, you have already worked with Entra ID, hybrid identity models, PIM, and RBAC.
You communicate fluently in German and have good English skills in speaking and writing.
You are open to new ways of working and have an interest in AI-supported tools for development and automation.
Benefits:
- Flexible working hours
- Free fruit and drinks
