The Special Education School Center (HPSZ): One school - four locations. We teach and support our students holistically and individually from kindergarten age to school leaving. Our diverse educational offerings enable good academic, social, and personal development. For the HPSZ Olten, we are looking for an educational staff member, 50-70%, starting immediately or by arrangement, limited until 31.07.2026 with the option of extension.

Your responsibilities

• You actively participate in teaching and supervision under the guidance of the class teacher and in collaboration with the team.
• Accompanying and supervising the students during lunch and the lunch break are among your further tasks.
• You individually support students with intensive care, nursing, and support needs in consultation with the class teacher.
• You take on delegated administrative, organizational, and content-related tasks for the class.
• You attend meetings as well as various mandatory events/trainings outside school hours and during school holidays.

Your profile

• You have completed pedagogical or therapeutic training or have experience as an assistant in the school sector. Your German language skills correspond to at least level B2.
• You enjoy working with children in the cognitive and communication support area.
• You also bring an affinity for an optimal school setting.
• You enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team. Patience, resilience, flexibility, and humor additionally characterize you as a person.
• You enjoy working in the cognition area in a class with 6-8 students, and the fixed schedule with working hours from 7:30 am to 3 or 4 pm fits your daily routine.
