Your passion is underwriting and you are interested in liability on both a national and international level? Are you fascinated by being at the cutting edge?

As a (Senior) Underwriter Liability International, you will manage Swiss major clients with national and international liability insurances in this position. You are responsible for underwriting as well as the management of the assigned portfolio. You impress with your professional underwriting of complex risks and actively contribute to customer and broker support as well as the further development of our liability business.

What you do

• You independently underwrite new and existing business. This includes the development and implementation of innovative liability solutions, setting premiums and conditions, negotiations with brokers and clients, profitability reviews including restructuring concepts, as well as the associated administration
• You competently and sustainably advise and support our customers and brokers
• You actively maintain your network with internal and external contacts and continuously expand it
• You contribute to market observations, the further development of our products and market cultivation
• You support projects - from planning to successful implementation

What you bring

• Completed commercial training or university degree - ideally complemented by further education in the insurance industry or risk management
• Several years of practical professional experience in the liability insurance business, preferably with an international focus
• Strong initiative as well as a communicative and team-oriented personality characterised by analytical and networked thinking, high personal responsibility and strong customer orientation
• Very good German and English skills; good French skills are an advantage
