This is exactly where the Client Channels division comes in. The focus is on central digital and physical touchpoints between ZKB and its customers, connecting needs with technology, processes, user experience, security and operations. This includes, among other things, eBanking, mobile banking as well as digital opening, onboarding and lifecycle processes.

Within Client Channels, interdisciplinary DevOps teams work on the development and further development of digital services along the central customer interfaces. The teams closely link business and technology and take responsibility for their solutions throughout the entire lifecycle – from conception and development to stable operation. The principle "You build it, you run it" applies consistently.

To support the "Pandit" team, we are looking for you as an experienced Tech Lead / Java Fullstack Software Engineer - eBanking.

Your challenge

• Further development and operation of five business-critical eBanking applications based on microservices and self-contained systems with a focus on backend with Java and Spring in a Kubernetes environment
• Technical leadership combined with software development/solution architecture. 70–80% of your activity involves software development, coaching and DevOps, 20–30% solution architecture
• Designing and implementing demanding banking requirements together with internal stakeholders and the DevOps team
• Developing and reviewing solution architectures with regard to security, scalability, resilience and performance
• Ensuring code quality and operational stability and sharing end-to-end responsibility
• Coaching developers, constructively reviewing code and promoting clean code, TDD, CI/CD and observability
• Contributing technical and methodological impulses as well as further developing collaboration between development, testing, operations and monitoring

Your qualities and talents

• Education in (business) computer science at HF, FH or university level or several years of relevant professional experience
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend with Java, Spring
• At least 2 years of frontend experience, preferably with Angular; React is a suitable alternative
• At least 3 years of experience with solution architectures
• High personal responsibility and quality standards as well as enjoyment of technical leadership, coaching and constructive collaboration
• Fluent German skills at least at C1 level
