For the Roman Catholic Parish Office Freienbach we are looking for a job share immediately or by arrangement a

Parish Secretary (approx. 45% including holiday cover)

The Freienbach parish includes the parish church St. Adelrich in Freienbach, the Bruder Klaus Chapel in Bäch and the Chapel St. Konrad in Wilen. The church community comprises over 3,000 Catholics and has an active and diverse community life.

As a parish secretary, you are the important link between the church staff, parish members and the wider public.

The working days are Thursday and Friday full-time

Your tasks

• general secretarial duties
• Information and contact person at reception and on the phone
• Administrative support for the service schedule
• Public relations (church newsletter, website, flyers and publications)
• Management of assigned parish books and the parish office archive
• Processing the address file and preparing mailings
• Coordination of baptisms, weddings and funerals
• Room and appointment management of parish premises
• Substitution and holiday cover for the co-parish secretary during absence

Your profile

• Completed commercial vocational training with professional experience
• Confident German language skills in spoken and written form
• Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Organised, team player, reliable and empathetic
• Independent working style
• Enjoyment in dealing with people and a positive attitude towards the church
• Flexibility for substitutions and holiday cover
