The Cancer League of both Basels is a non-profit institution with advisory centres in Basel and Liestal. The main areas of work are counselling and support, prevention and early detection, as well as research promotion.

For our Prevention & Early Detection department, we are looking for a

Clerk Screening Programmes 70-100%

In this all-round role, you will represent our organisation and be the first point of contact for participants in the mammography screening programme and the colorectal cancer screening programme – primarily by telephone and e-mail. The administrative team performs the important interface function between service providers from medical practices, hospitals, institutes and laboratories. Your area of responsibility includes informing, inviting, coordinating appointments and data collection of the screening programme participants, as well as other administrative tasks.

Your profile

• You have completed commercial training or have a comparable qualification with a commercial background.
• Professional experience in a similar role, enjoyment in dealing with people, a winning communication style, both by telephone and in writing, pronounced service orientation
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications and high IT affinity
• Flawless German skills in spoken and written form, good French skills are an advantage
• Structured, precise way of working
• Independent and responsible work within a team
• Reliability and high flexibility

Our offer

We offer you a small, dynamic team, modern infrastructure and a varied task that requires independent and committed work. We have two locations in Basel and Liestal. In this position, you will probably work mainly at the Basel location. However, we expect flexibility to work at the Liestal location if required.
