Occupational Safety Specialist 100% (m/f)

Job Description

• Support of various projects with a focus on safety-relevant aspects
• Creation of hazard portfolios for existing and newly procured equipment
• Conducting internal safety audits (safety inspections)
• Acceptance of machines and equipment based on SUVA checklists
• Support of all departments in complying with and implementing the procedures defined in our management system regarding safety-relevant points
• Conducting analyses of accidents and risk events
• Active support in installation applications, planning and operating permits, and other safety-related issues with the support of the Safety & Environment management
• Creation, organisation, and delivery of training in the area of safety topics

Profile

• Completed training in the chemical field (e.g. chemical laboratory technician, chemical engineer) and occupational safety specialist, ideally also completed training as an occupational hygienist

Professional Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in occupational safety / occupational hygiene
• Assertive, persistent, team-oriented, and solution-focused personality
• Enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration at all hierarchical levels
• German spoken and written, good English skills, French an advantage
