Hey, we are AF Tissue Expert Switzerland AG - the central shared service centre within a family-run group of hygiene paper manufacturers in Switzerland and Europe. As AF Tissue Expert Switzerland AG, we consolidate all overarching functions such as finance, HR, IT, purchasing, sales and planning and work closely with our production sites Tela (Niederbipp) and Cartaseta (Gretzenbach). Tela and Cartaseta stand for high-quality hygiene papers, modern technology and sustainable production processes. While production takes place daily at the plants, we ensure that the administrative, organisational and strategic framework conditions are right – practical, efficient and always in direct exchange with the operations. What is special about your role with us: You work closely with the plants, understand their needs and actively help shape how our production sites are supported today and in the future. Purchasing Clerk 80-100% (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Purchasing & procurement: You keep the entire operational purchasing process running – from internal stock control through request for quotations, orders and order confirmations to deadline monitoring, goods receipt inspection and complaint management
• Supplier management & negotiation: You maintain existing supplier relationships, conduct price negotiations with the necessary tact and ensure that quality, availability and costs are right
• Master data & system maintenance: You keep our supplier and article master data clean, up-to-date and so well maintained that everything runs smoothly in day-to-day business
• Sourcing & further development: You help to build new supply sources, keep an eye on the market and contribute ideas on how we can make our procurement even smarter and more efficient
• Reporting & transparency: You prepare evaluations and key figures in such a way that clear insights and good decisions arise from them

Profile

• Education & professional experience: You have completed a commercial basic training or a comparable qualification and ideally have already gained experience in purchasing
• IT skills: MS Office, especially Excel, is your daily business. You are ideally already familiar with SAP or SAGE 100 from practice
• Working style: You work in a structured, precise and efficient manner, keeping a cool head even when several topics land on your desk at the same time
• Personality: You communicate proactively, professionally and on an equal footing, appear confident and bring the necessary negotiation skills
• Drive: You think along, get stuck in and are keen to push things forward rather than just working through tasks
• Language skills: You communicate absolutely confidently in German and manage well in everyday business in English
