Solution Architect (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
Architecture and Platform Design
You design future-proof Azure cloud architectures and use the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework as well as Enterprise Scale to create clear structures and reusable standards.
You design powerful hub-spoke networks that enable secure communication between cloud components and can flexibly adapt to new requirements.
You develop hybrid cloud architectures where existing on-premises systems and cloud services interact sensibly.
Security, Governance and Identity
You define governance structures and technical guardrails to ensure cloud environments can be operated in a controlled, secure manner and in compliance with relevant regulations.
You design modern identity and permission solutions based on Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, PIM and RBAC.
You embed security requirements in the architecture, supporting controlled and traceable access to cloud resources.
Automation and Containers
You use Terraform to provide infrastructure reproducibly and reduce manual configuration efforts.
You plan and implement containerised platforms with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), considering their requirements for scaling, security, and operation.
You evaluate new tools and approaches, including Claude Code, Cursor and GitHub Copilot, to meaningfully support modern development and automation processes.
Qualifications:
You have a completed degree in computer science or a comparable field.
You bring several years of experience in Azure cloud architecture and can justify technical decisions both strategically and practically.
You have solid knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes and ideally AKS.
You are familiar with the challenges of modern cloud platforms regarding governance, security, network design and hybrid cloud integration.
Ideally, you have experience with Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity solutions, Privileged Identity Management and RBAC.
You communicate fluently in German and confidently in English.
