The vsao pension fund is the pension fund of the Association of Swiss Assistant and Senior Physicians. We serve around 300 public and private hospitals and institutions with over 25,000 actively insured persons and around 1,250 pension recipients.
Do you want to independently handle demanding benefit cases and reliably support people in difficult life situations? Then you are right with us. To strengthen our small team in the claims department, we are looking for an experienced specialist immediately or by arrangement.

What to expect
- Independent examination and processing of disability and death cases
- Assessing benefit entitlements based on medical, legal and insurance-technical documents
- Coordinating benefits with other social insurances as well as checking for overcompensation, offsets and recourse claims
- Calculating benefits and preparing decision bases for the Benefits Committee
- Advising insured persons, survivors, employers and other specialist offices
- Conducting periodic benefit reviews
What you bring
- Several years of experience in handling disability and survivors' benefits, preferably at a pension fund
- Sound knowledge of occupational benefits and coordination with other social insurances
- Further training in social insurances or occupational benefits with at least a federal specialist certificate or a comparable higher qualification or legal training in social insurances
- Analytical, careful and independent working style as well as a high sense of responsibility
- Empathy and confidence in dealing with people in demanding life situations
- Fluent German; knowledge of French is an advantage
