Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d)

You have experience in analysing cyber threats and want to apply your skills in a demanding security environment? In this role, you monitor the security landscape, investigate suspicious activities and support the coordinated response to security-critical incidents. You work closely with internal specialists as well as external security partners and contribute your technical expertise to the optimisation of security solutions, processes and projects.
Responsibilities:
You analyse incoming security events, prioritise potential threats and document security incidents comprehensibly.
You operate and monitor company-wide ICT security systems and ensure structured handling of security-relevant reports.
You coordinate countermeasures in the event of cyberattacks and other security-threatening incidents together with internal security officers, technical specialists and external service providers.
You support the development of technical solution proposals and prepare decision-making bases taking security requirements into account.
You participate in the evaluation, selection and procurement of suitable security systems and tools.
You contribute to security projects and support the further development of existing security processes.
Qualifications:
You have completed a technical education in cybersecurity or computer science.
You bring broad knowledge in IT security as well as with Windows and Linux platforms.
You are familiar with security standards and attack methods such as OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK.
You have at least three years of experience in cyber security analytics and threat hunting.
You have already worked with SIEM systems and monitoring solutions and can assess security-relevant events.
You work analytically, structured and solution-oriented and can document technical matters comprehensibly.
You communicate fluently in German, both spoken and written; knowledge of French is a plus.
