Application Manager | Focus on Clinical Information System (CIS) 80%-100%, starting July 1, 2026 or by arrangement

To strengthen our ICT team, we are looking for a committed, solution-oriented personality as an Application Manager with a focus on supporting our clinical information system M-KIS (Meierhofer).

Your main tasks

In this role, you are responsible for the stable and user-oriented operation of our clinical information system and its further development.

• Ensuring the proper operation and further development of our CIS (M-KIS, Meierhofer)
• Proactively shaping CIS-related processes
• Ensuring smooth system use in clinical daily routine
• Analyzing and resolving malfunctions and errors in the CIS
• Coordinating between internal departments as well as 2nd and 3rd level support (suppliers)
• Planning and executing releases, tests, and rollouts in close coordination with departments
• Collecting, analyzing, and specifying professional requirements and implementing them in collaboration with the manufacturer
• Formulating and tracking change requests
• Supporting and moderating key user committees
• Creating and maintaining system and process documentation (Confluence)
• Creating training materials and conducting user training
• Advising and supporting departments in optimal CIS use
• Proactively informing users about updates, maintenance, and outages

Your profile

• Completed studies in (business) informatics (FH/HF)
• Several years of experience in application management of a CIS, ideally with M-KIS (Meierhofer)
• Very good understanding of clinical processes (e.g., patient administration, service recording, documentation)
• Experience working with software suppliers and in release management
• Analytical and structured working style as well as high service orientation
• Enjoy working with medical and administrative departments
• Very good German skills, English skills are an advantage
